Van Buren artist Ralph Irwin leaves lasting legacy through art, kindness

Ralph Irwin, the Van Buren artist known as much for his kind heart as his masterful works, left a lasting legacy in more ways than one. Irwin passed away at the age of 76 on Aug. 14 after a lengthy battle with cancer. A celebration of his life was held in April. More than 500 people attended the event.
